I love this place! I've been shopping here for over 30 years and I'm still finding new stuff. It's probably been 20 years since the restaurant that used to be part of the store closed its doors. But the memory of it still inspires me to attempt adventurous Asian recipes whose ingredients can mostly be found in the densely packed aisles.
If you're short on cash and want some high quality food to cook up on a rainy Tuesday night this is your place. Meat is fresh and delicious, staff kind and helpful, and the knives and cookware are top notch. Spend $8 on a knife and never use another one again. Highly recommend
Come for the pickled ginger, stay for all the other tasty food! Seriously though, their pickled ginger is to die for and better quality than in most sushi restaurants! The service is always friendly and they have such a good selection. I can always find whatever ingredients I need!
